olympics

We've been watching and celebrating the Olympics this week.

 We had our own opening ceremony. Neland is cheering for North America. No matter how many times we talk about countries and continents, he's determined that North America will win.

 According to Neland, Teague is cheering for Florida. Again, any discussion about countries and states, useless.

 I leave the Olympics on most of the day. Yesterday Neland told me "They're playing beach volleyball but without the sand".

There have been many races around the house, and synchronized diving off the bottom step (I would not allow any higher). Neland's favorite Olympic sport is race car driving (I wonder when he'll realize that is not an Olympic sport).
