Fall 2013

Well Fall is FLYING by! I'm going to do my best to document it, but I'm so far behind I know I'll leave a few things out (or a lot of things).

We started off the first day of fall at the Hall Family Farm (and thank goodness because every weekend after that it was PACKED). The boys had a blast.

The boys picked pumpkins like they were strawberries. We had to put a few back.

School picture day.
Greenway walks with Teague (and bike rides). We spotted quite a few caterpillars this trip and Teague enjoyed making leaf bridges for them (until ultimately the leaf bridge would get too close to the edge and the bridge with caterpillar would fall over the edge).

We carved pumpkins the day before Halloween. Neland wanted an Angry Birds inspired one.

Teague had his pumpkin day parade at school. He had said for the longest time he wanted to be Buzz Lightyear, and then about two weeks before Halloween switched to say he wanted to be Cookie Monster again. The costume didn't fit quite as well, but it worked.
He did not say his name and character, even though he practiced it many times.
On Halloween we painted some smaller pumpkins.

Neland has wanted to be an Angry Bird for awhile and just happened to mention it to a friend in Sunday School, who had made a costume a previous year. We were lucky enough to get to borrow it!
Neland's t-ball league had a special night game from the little guys. They loved the lights being on! They even played the National Anthem and announced the players names before the game.
A gorgeous and bright rainbow after dinner one Sunday.
Halloween cookies (sorry these are out of order).

Teague's teachers reminded me how much he loves playdough. We've been getting it out quite a bit more.
I had a whim to make homemade pretzels for snack one afternoon. I figure it must be a little healthier than Targets.
Before Halloween some of Teague's class met up for a morning at the Hall Family Farm. Teague's best buddy was there and he was thrilled.

Neland's school had a fall carnival the same night (of course a day when it was freezing)!

Fall t-ball ended and Neland has truly missed it. He had such a wonderful coach this past season. He taught Neland so much about the game, pushed him to always try harder, and really made his love for the game grow. His son is moving up next season and I know we will truly miss him coaching.

One night Chris told me to go look in Neland's room but I had to promise not to get mad - Teague had snuck in to cuddle with Neland. Teague hates sleeping alone.
 My errand buddy.
Grandma came to visit and was able to have lunch with Neland. He loves lunch time visitors.

There's a glimpse at our fall.
