cooking dinner

When I'm well prepared (which is not often), I have a project for the boys to do while I'm preparing dinner. There is something about how perfect it all is that makes me want to remember it forever (and not because my house is spotless and my kids are well groomed, but because it's messy and fun and two kids I adore doing something together).

Here they are painting egg carton catepillars, although Teague chose to paint himself, the table and the chair.
