I've been really lazy about getting the camera out, and here are way too many pictures from my phone:
A trip to observation park let us us the "tailgate" feature of the van.
The boys had begged to go back to the pond with the ducks. The ducklings had grown quite a bit.
Lots of story writing going on in the house. Neland's is usually about a good guy catching a bad guy.
We visited the children's library uptown and their Arthur exhibit. The boys loved putting themselves into Arthur's World with the green screen.
We took a break to meet Chris for lunch.
Then we headed back to the library.
Teague was obsessed with these huge tangrams.
And it was back to the green screen.
Ugh Teague, literally climbing the wall.
With all our crazy unpredictable rain, I thought it might be worth a trip to Sky High. It wasn't crowded at all, and Neland's still short enough for the kids' area.
After half an hour Teague was laying on the floor he was so tired. He quickly recovered though. Friday night we drove uptown to have dinner with Chris. The boys were very excited.
The owner (and farmer) of the restaurant took the boys to the kitchen which they were excited to see.
Chris had us put on the visitor list and we were able to see his office.
The boys LOVED the view (my ears popped on the way up and the way down). They would have stayed for hours I'm sure. They could see trains, the light rail, a helicopter, a mountain, and even people swimming in a roof top pool across the street.
It was a great way to end a week!
