Easter

The boys were very excited to wake up early Easter morning.
After investigating the baskets loaded down with playmobil, art supplies, books and games, we had a quick breakfast and then dressed for church.
The children were asked to bring flowers for the cross.
We taught Teague's class and were able to see the flowering of the cross. We had such a sweet group of two year olds. They sat and sang so nicely.
We left church quickly after teaching to make it home in time to greet our special guests. Grandpa, Grandma, Granny and Mumsie all arrived to celebrate Easter and a soon to be 3 year old.

There was quite the egg hunt.

An Easter family picture.

And after lunch, we celebrated Teague's birthday. All he wanted was a Cookie Monster party. Unfortunately it's very hard to find Cookie Monster decorations. I managed to find some napkins with just Cookie Monster - that was it. Teague really wanted a large Cookie Monster balloon and a Cookie Monster cake, but didn't seem too disappointed when those didn't appear.
The improvised cupcake on his birthday plate.
Then there were the presents. Teague's gifts couldn't reflect his interests any better; lots of games, puzzles and playmobil (in addition to soccer lessons and art lessons). He is one lucky guy.
The day ended with some airplane flying before dinner and bedtime (an early bedtime).
It was a perfect Easter Sunday. We are very blessed.
