our new house

 

Ever since going to a gingerbread house playdate last Christmas, Neland has been obsessed with these houses.  He saw a Halloween one in a magazine and has asked to make one ever since.  He was so excited to do this on Friday with Grandma (who will let him eat much more of it than me).

 He debated putting the witch in the window.  We convinced him that it was a nice witch and that witches are just make believe. He liked what we were saying and she was allowed to be part of the house.  This could be a very tough Halloween with all of NJ's fears and worries!
