School is out!
On Tuesday!
And it's 41 degrees.
So what do we do with this special free time?
Go to the playground of course!
Imagine the shock when we had it all to ourselves.
The fourth rung on the monkey bars.
A record.
oops! He almost made it.
No fancy water fountain for the people, just the dogs.
No wonder Teague preferred the "dog bar".
Teague has learned time out spots appear everywhere.
After an hour and a half, I wrangled the kids up to try and get a shot for a Christmas card. Sure they were in five layers and in nothing particularly cute or Christmas-y, but my expectations are declining rapidly of getting cute pictures with the two of them in it, dressed adorably, with hair not needing to be cut or brushed - maybe even smiling.
The boys had hot chocolate and a croissant, except Teague had chocolate milk, but he calls it hot chocolate.
My only "good" picture of Neland.
When Neland finished his, he licked the top and the sides of the cup, and wished (out loud) for more. This week, whatever I do for him is never enough. He always wants more or something slightly different. I'll blame it on the time change and messed up sleep times, for now.
The rest of our free day involved grilled cheeses, playing outside, a little "learning", a visit from Grandpa, and quite a few time outs. Bedtime will quickly follow dinner.
